Norine Laverne Ketchum

Norine Laverne (Crane) Ketchum, 91 of Hallsville, went to rest in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, April 8, 2019 at Boone Hospital, Columbia, MO.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 12, 2019 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Home, Columbia, MO. Funeral service follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Jason Gentry and Rev. Robert Cook officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Norine was born on October 24, 1927 in Boone County, MO the daughter of Henen and Minnie (Heath) Richardson who preceded her in death. She was better known to most people in Hallsville as “Nanny”. She was married on January 25, 1947 in Columbia, MO to Walton Henry Crane who preceded her in death on February 14, 1983. Norine then married Archie Kethcum on October 24, 1993 near Columbia, MO who preceded her in death on September 20, 2014. She worked at the State Bank of Hallsville for 25 years and was loved by all the customers. She was extremely devoted to her husbands, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was loved by all of them. Norine enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals and any sport her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were playing.

Survivors include: three sons, Phillip Crane (Cindy) of Hallsville, MO, Kirby Crane (Melanie) of Jefferson City, MO and Jeff Crane (Tina) of Hallsville, MO; six grandchildren ; 25 great-grandchildren and stepchildren, Sharon Edwards (David), Carolyn Elkins, Sonny Ketchum (Elinda), Debbie Ketchum and Dennis Ketchum. She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Andrea Fox; eight brothers and two sisters.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hallsville Baptist Church , c/o Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 West, Columbia, MO 65202.
