Services will be Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Memorial Funeral Home with Visitation 11 AM – 12 PM and a Funeral Service at Noon. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Bo was born on January 28, 1951 in Columbia, the son of Nelson Creason and Gladys (Smith) Creason. On June 5, 1970 he was united in marriage to Kathy Vankirk who survives.
Bo was a 1970 graduate of Hickman High School. He owned his own plumbing business and was a Master Plumber and skilled in HVAC. He could fix and repair almost anything mechanical. He was a hardworking man and always ready to help anyone in need. He could be found eating breakfast or lunch at Big Mama’s and Midway Truck Stop. On weekends you could find him at a racetrack or a ball field. Bo’s greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and cheering them on in all their sports.
Bo is survived by his wife: Katherine; their children: Patty Creason; Christy Creason (Kim Crane); Rusty (Jennifer) Creason; his siblings: Eugene “Red” (Linda) Creason; Linda (Jerry) Schomaker;; Donna Boggs; Lynn Furlong; Nelson “Deno” (Connie) Creason; Sandra Cox; Donna (Jesse) Brown; Wayne (Cindy) Martie; Mary Lyons; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren and a host of others who lovingly called him “Grandpa Bo” or “Uncle Bo.” He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters: Barbara Swift; Joyce Ann Baker and one brother: Fred (Penny) Martie.
Memorial donations may be made to Bo's family to assist with his final arrangements.
