Robert "Bob" N. Burdick

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Memorial Funeral Home at 10:00 AM. Officiating will be Rev. Bruce Caldwell.

Bob was born on December 8, 1934 in Columbia, MO the son of John Sr and Jewel (Breckendridge) Burdick who preceded him in death. He was married on March 27, 1955 in Columbia, MO to Bettie Corley who survives of the home. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and worked for over 40 years at Wyatt’s Supermarket as the manager of the meat department. He enjoyed spending the day at the golf course playing golf and bowling with his good friends on his bowling team “Lucky Strikes”.

Other survivors include: two sons, Rocky Burdick (Carol) of Belton, MO and Tommie Burdick of Columbia, MO; one daughter, Kathy Starke (George) of Columbia, MO; one brother Larry Burdick; one sister, Hazel Cook; six grandchildren, Brandon Burdick, Tommie Burdick Jr., Nikki Waltner, Jason Starke, Emily Burdick and Jacob Burdick and eight great-grandchildren, Andrew, Landon, Abbi, Jacob, Jonathan, Nolan, Zoe and Baby J. He was also preceded in death by one brother, John Burdick.
