He was born in Milford, Nebraska on November 9, 1916.
After high school graduation he joined the ARMY and served in the Pacific Theatre in Pearl Harbor and the Philippines. After an honorable discharge, he attended Northwestern University and graduated with a Business Degree. He helped open and start Boone Clinic in Columbia. He worked as a Hospital Administrator at the Missouri State Prison and retired from there.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and sister and first wife Doris Christine McNeill Fosler and Stepdaughter Nancy Lammers. He is survived by: his wife of 31 years, Elaine Fosler of Columbia, Missouri, daughter Carol Ann Garnett of Jacksonville, Arkansas, stepdaughters Pam Blackwell of Hallsville and Mary Ann Waller of Centralia, Stepsons Jim Waller of Gates, North Carolina, John Waller of Kansas City, several nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great grandchildren all of whom loved him and will miss him greatly.
Both visitation and memorial service will be on Thursday, February 14, 2019. Visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m and the Memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Columbia, Missouri.
