Robert Mahlan Jr.

Robert, a devoted father, loyal friend, and lover of life’s simple joys, passed away peacefully on September 4th 2025 at the age of 60.

Above all else, his greatest treasures were his three beloved daughters, who brought him immeasurable pride and joy, and his faithful dog, Moon, who was never far from his side. His family was the heart of his world, and he loved them with a steady, unconditional devotion.

Robert was a man of genuine character—accepting of all, humble in spirit, and honest to his core. He worked hard throughout his life, never shying away from the effort it took to provide and care for others.

In his quiet moments, he found peace in the things he loved: fishing at the water’s edge, shaping wood with his hands into something lasting, or sketching out his thoughts and creativity in drawings. These pastimes reflected his patience, craftsmanship, and appreciation for life’s details.

Those who knew Robert will remember his warmth, his easygoing nature, and the way he lived with a sincerity that touched everyone he met. His legacy lives on in the love of his daughters, the loyalty of his dog, and the memories of a man who lived simply, honestly, and well.

He is survived by his daughters Bobbi, Jessica, and Heather, his loyal companion Moon, and a community of family and friends who will deeply miss him.

A celebration of his life will be held at a future date.
