Scott was born November 14, 1964 in Springfield, MO, the son of Paul E. and Dorothy M. (Steinkuehler) Dittmer. Before his failing health he was self-employed in Heating and Air Conditioning. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Dittmer in 2005. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Dittmer of Columbia; brother, Stephen Dittmer of Columbia; a niece, Grace Dittmer of Atlanta, GA; sister-in-law Alice Groner of Jefferson City, MO, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
