Spencer George Carlson

Spencer G. Carlson, 71, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2025. Born on July 18, 1953, Spencer was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He had a deep love for his family, his work, and his ranch. His passion for horses was unmatched, and his ranch was his sanctuary.

Spencer had a tenured career at Multilink, where he earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues over the years. He was known for his infectious energy and his knack for bringing light to any room. He was the life of every party, often cracking jokes that could make anyone laugh. His charm and humor will be missed by all who knew him.

Spencer was preceded in death by his mother and father, Edna and Spencer Carlson, his sister Lynda Ervin, and his stepson Brandon Timmerman. He is survived by his loving wife, Becky Wade-Carlson; his brother, Steven (Patrice) Carlson; his daughter, Lauren (Garrett) Knoll; his son, Eric (Rhonda) Carlson; his stepchildren, Emily Scoggins and Dustin Timmerman; and his grandchildren, Thomas, Cameron, and Avery.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Spencer’s honor at Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home in Elyria, Ohio on March 22, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Family, friends, and all whose lives Spencer touched are invited to join in remembering the light he brought to the world.
