Tina Maria Dixon ran to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, August 14, 2025, surrounded by her beloved family. She was born February 12, 1963, to William Wayne “Bill” and Betty Lou (Edgar) Anthony in Columbia, Missouri.
Tina grew up camping and enjoying the outdoors with family and friends, on float trips to walking the gravel roads around her Hallsville home. She was an avid crafter, always finding new hobbies that amazed everyone with her creativity and skill, from painting to making jewelry. A devoted homemaker, she raised her three sons in Faith, Hope, and Love. She took great pride in her home and her flowers, which she tended to with care every day. She loved to sing and dance, nights at Goodtime Country and The Silver Bullet were always on her mind.
When her sons blessed her with grandchildren, she joyfully became “Nana.” She poured her heart into making sure each grandchild was thoroughly loved and, of course, a little spoiled. Family was her treasure—immediate and extended—and she loved them all deeply.
Tina was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Betty Anthony; her brother, Daniel Anthony; and her beloved husband, James W. Dixon.
She is survived by her three sons—Cory (Mallory) Tenholder, Chase (Mariah) Tenholder, and James (Morgan) Dixon—her grandchildren Riley, Nick, Olivia, Gibson, Grayson, Bailey, Caden, Rylan, Amelia, Mason, and Memphis; her great-grandchildren Creed and Cohen; and many more to come. Three sisters, Carol (David) Cross, Sharon Lewis, Teresa (Ron) Kribbs, and One brother, Steve Anthony. As well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her love, faith, and joy will live on in all who knew her.
