

Ginny was a very kind and loving person to everyone she knew. She enjoyed cooking, singing, crossword puzzles, trivia, playing board games, and spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were the light of her life; always surrounding herself with them, and cheering them on in all their endeavors. Ginny retired from the University of Missouri in 2008, as a Patient Service Representative, and was also a member of the local Fraternal order of Eagles, where she donated her time to special functions, and enjoyed playing cards with her friends.
Ginny is survived by her children, Eric Barnhill of Beasley, TX, Mike (Kelly) Barnhill of Hallsville, MO, Scott (Margaret) Coleman of Columbia, MO, Leslie Reeves of Columbia, MO, Danielle (Jaron) Coleman of Columbia, MO, and Ricky (Cynthia) Coleman of Alvin, TX; grandchildren, Isabella, Eric II, Drake, Garrett and Chloe Barnhill, Evan Coleman, Edward Hudlow, William Carter, Matthew Hager, Brittany Coleman, Heather Kewley, Austin Grace, Dylan Coleman, Zylin Brimmage, and Donald Coleman III; great grandson, Dexter Barnhill; siblings, Patty Young of Ashland, MO, Mike Burley of Udall, KS, Scott Burley of Ashland, MO, Mark Burley of Columbia, MO, Karen Crane of Centralia, MO, and many nieces and nephews.
Ginny was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie, her parents, Jim and Darlene, and grandson, Seth Barnhill.
A visitation will be held at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 W, Columbia, MO 65202 on Friday, December 4, 2020 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we ask for your understanding and cooperation in our efforts to keep our families and staff safe. Masks are required inside the building and social distancing is enforced. A private family funeral service will follow at 12:30 pm and the service will be live streamed on the funeral home's Facebook page at Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory, and Memorial Park Cemetery/Columbia. Private graveside and interment will be held at Mount Nebo Cemetery.
