Virginia Frances Strawn

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2018 with a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Virginia was born April 8, 1925 in Wilton, Missouri one of six girls to John and Ruby (Pilcher) Batye. Her sisters preceded her in death. She married Benjamin Wells in September, 1942 and he preceded her in death. She married Archie Strawn in March, 1959 and he also preceded her in death.

Survivors include three daughters: Patricia (David) Carson, of Columbia, Cindy (Jesse) Thorp, Phyllis Wells (deceased); two granddaughters Jennifer Lewis and Janette Berry both of Columbia, three great grandchildren,; one step-son: Ronald (Merideth) Strawn of Columbia.

Memorials may be made to the Central Missouri Humane Society or the Food Bank of Central and Northeast Missouri.
