Waterston Allen Martin

Allen graduated from Naperville Central High School in Naperville, Illinois, in 1974. He spent much of his working life in the retail industry before retiring. Outside of work, Allen found joy in the simple things he loved most—music above all else. Whether listening or sharing it with others, music was a constant presence in his life. He also enjoyed tinkering and repairing cars and was a devoted football fan.

He is lovingly remembered by his siblings: Joseph Millemaci and his wife Kathy of Grand Island, New York; Melanie Allen and her husband Greg of Lexington, Missouri; Susan Nuss and her husband Marshal of Columbia, Missouri; and Jon Martin and his significant other Erin, also of Columbia. He is also survived by his cherished nieces and nephews—Jenna, Sam, Rick, Alexa, Kennedy, and Delaney—as well as his two great-nieces, Eliana and Elizabeth, along with many other relatives and dear friends.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the American Cancer Society.

A celebration of Allen’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home in Columbia, Missouri.
