Visitation will be 4-6 pm Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life will be 11 am Monday, May 23, 2016, Memorial Funeral Home.
"Bouy", as he was known to his family and friends, was born January 26, 1946 to Sherman and Effie Marie (Mullen) Nixon, in Quincy, Illinois. Both parents and two sisters, Donna Crockett and Debbie Graves, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his children, William Nixon of San Francisco, and Kate Whittaker and husband Cameron of Columbia, and grandchildren Emma Reinkemeyer and Ryder William Whittaker. He also leaves siblings Richard Nixon and Diane Chancellor, both of Columbia. Bouy was an avid golfer and over his lifetime had SIX holes in one. He was passionate about his friends, family, the Carndinals and the outdoors. None of which he ever took for granted.
Flowers can be sent to Memorial Funeral Home or memorial contributions can be made to Shriners Hospital.
