Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Ruby {Roddy} Ridgway; children, Reba (Lin) Horton, Brenda (Joe) Wade, Ronald (Cindy) Ridgway, David (Dawn) Ridgway, Darren (Marlene) Ridgway and Paul (Theresa) Ridgway; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and one sister, Nadine Reams. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers: Leroy and Gerald Ridgway, and one infant sister.
Mr. Ridgway retired in 1984 from the city of Mexico's Fire Department ending a 36 year career, and 31 of those years driving PSD's oldest firetruck. He was also an avid fisherman, local taxidermist and in the last 10 years, greatly honed in on his woodworking skills making many intricate treasures for those he loved. Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, October 24, 2015 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Mexico, MO. Visitation will be held one hour prior, from 2:00-3:00 at the Hall.
