Brenda Martin

Brenda Martin, of Sandy Hook, Mississippi, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at the age of 77. She was born in Tylertown, Mississippi to Ed and Martha McCain. Brenda was competitive and enjoyed playing cards, games, and puzzles. She had many interests including quilting and gardening. Brenda came to faith in Christ late in life and became a devoted servant of the Lord. Her love for her family was profound and she cherished every moment that she was able to spend with them, especially her grandbabies.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia McCain; two brothers, Charles McCain and Ben McCain; and the love of her life, her husband, Pete Martin. Brenda is survived by a daughter, Pat Touchstone and her husband, Johnny; a son, Craig Martin; brothers, Jim McCain, and Kevin Parker; seven grandchildren, Heather Touchstone, Martin Touchstone, Micah Touchstone, Austin Morgan, Elizabeth Beach and her husband, Brant, and Logan Martin; five great-grandchildren, Jordan Richard, Jacob Richard, Jagger Richard, Kainyn Beach, and Kohlson Beach; and her fur baby, Max.

The funeral service, officiated by Reverend Johnny Touchstone, will be at the graveside in Carson Springs Baptist Church Cemetery on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 1:00pm where she will be laid to rest.
