Charles Alan “Charlie” Igleharte, of Foxworth, Mississippi, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at the age of 22. He was a lifelong resident of Marion County and work for T.L. Wallace Construction. When he was not working, Charlie enjoyed playing basketball, playing video games, traveling, grilling, and crawfish boils. He loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his sisters. Charlie made friends easily and had a way of making friends feel like family. He would help anyone in need and never asked anything in return. He was the definition of “I am only a phone call away.” Charlie had a great sense of humor. He was fun, goofy, and always kept people laughing. Charlie will be remembered for his infectious smile.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Charlotte Lowery; two uncles, Ray Louge and Justin Lowery, Sr; his paternal grandmother, Lucy Whitehead; and an aunt Crystal Igleharte. Charlie is survived by his fiancé, Vada Price; his mother, Jessica Lowery (Willie Owens); his father, Mark Igleharte; two sisters, Micah Igleharte and Kayla Igleharte; his maternal grandfather, Jeff Lowery; his paternal grandfather, Charles Whitehead; cousins, Shane Watson, Dylan Watson, Lexi Igleharte, Katie Igleharte, and Justin Lowery, Jr; and many friends.
There will be a visitation for Charlie at Colonial Funeral Home on Sunday, October 27, 2024 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. The funeral service to celebrate his life will be in the funeral home chapel on Monday, October 28, 2024 at 10:00am. He will be laid to rest in the Pine Burr Baptist Church Cemetery assisted by Mark Igleharte, Lee Cochran, Shane Watson, Dylan Watson, Justin Lowery, Jr, Mikey Dixon, Michael Hurst, Jonathan Jimenez, Cameron Flowers, and Corron Smith serving as pallbearers.
