Charles Richard Stoetzner, of Columbia, Mississippi, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at the age of 72. He was born in Independence, Louisiana to Glen and Lois Stoetzner and lived most of his life in Louisiana where he worked as a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry. When not working, he enjoyed his time on the water Bass fishing. Charles loved making people laugh and will be remembered for his great sense of humor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Glen Stoetzner, Sr. Charles is survived by two sons, Dewayne Stoetzner and Bobby Stoetzner and his wife, Melissa; a sister, Jerry Price; a brother, Ray Stoetzner; six grandchildren, Kayla Nelson, Jonathan Stoetzner, Michael Stoetzner, Dylan Stoetzner, Isaac Stoetzner, and Erin Stoetzner; and one great-grandchild, Sekani Smith.
The services for Charles will be private.
