Dewey Roberts, of Foxworth, Mississippi, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2020 at the age of 77. He was a lifelong resident of Marion County and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He also was employed with B.J. Services for over 30 years. Dewey was a loving husband who was devoted to his family and will be remembered as a wonderful father, grandfather, and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Allie Roberts; and his son, Shawn Roberts. Dewey is survived by his wife Sharon Roberts; a daughter, Emily Roberts; two sisters, Mavis Thornhill and husband, Wendell and Lynn Sanders and husband, Joey; a brother, Gary Roberts and wife, Barbara; and two granddaughters, Delilah Roberts and Lilliana Roberts. There will be a graveside service in Pine Grove United Pentecostal Church Cemetery at 3:00pm on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 and friends may visit with the family from 2:30pm until service time. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
