Dymple Moree, of Columbia, MS, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018 at the age of 72. Dymple was raised in Bassfield, MS and has been a resident of Columbia for the past 54 years. She was member of Good Hope Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Knox and Barney Deen. Dymple is survived by her husband, Ben “Noonie” Moree, Jr; a daughter, Becky Fortenberry and her husband Greg; a son, Philip Moree and his wife, Jennifer; a sister, Shirley Polk and her husband, Jerry; two grandchildren, Brittany Johnson and her husband, Zack and Wesley Fortenberry and a great-granddaughter, Emma Raye Johnson. There will be a visitation from 12:00pm until 2:00pm on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia. The funeral service will follow at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel officiated by Reverend Justin Cameron. The pallbearers are Benjamin Moree, Stewart Polk, Wesley Fortenberry, Greg Fortenberry, David Terry, and Zack Johnson. Burial will be in the Moree Family Cemetery.
