Frances Thornhill

Frances Thornhill, age 90 of Foxworth, MS passed away Monday, November 19, 2018 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. A native of Marion County, MS, she became a homemaker after being employed with Rotor-Rex and Pioneer Aerospace for a number of years and was a longtime member of Mount Sinai Church of God. Mrs. Thornhill was preceded in death by her parents, Hezzie Dunaway and Floyd Cooper Dunaway; sisters, Mable Thornhill, and Bessie McSwain; and brother, James Dunaway. She is survived by her husband, Billy Thornhill, Jr.; her daughter, Toni Thornhill; a sister, Hilda Beard; three grandchildren, Joseph Daniel (Teresa) Sanders, Jr., Tina Marie (Ryan) Stringer, and Rebecca Lynn Sanders; seven great-grandchildren, Daniel Dewayne (Erin) Sanders, Nicole Eleese Crump, Courtney Singley, William Louis Hunt, William Mark Sanders, Brianna Lynn Stringer, and Haley Ann Stringer; and two great great-grandchildren, Jaxton Dale Sanders, and Jace Kolt Sanders. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 11:00am at Mount Sinai Church of God where friends may visit with family from 10:00am until service time. Interment will follow at Mount Sinai Church of God Cemetery. Assisting the funeral directors as pallbearers will be Dawson Robbins, Garron Bogle, Joel Prine, Caleb Dyess, Carter Dyess, and Jordan McKenzie.
