My Big Brother Cousin! Mikell was the natural leader of a rag tag group of kin & neighborhood kids (y’all all know who you are :) who willingly followed him into more than our fair share of mischief and fun. I have so many good memories! We grew up, but Mikell continued to lead - in the classroom and by example. He was not a good man, he was a Great man! And will truly be missed.

First time I met Mike he'd seen me ride up to Walmart on my motorcycle and shared the gospel of Jesus Christ with me. I told him I was already a Christian, then he said, "well I want to put you to work!" From that point on, every time I saw Mike, usually at Red Bluff with his CMA trailor set up, he shared Jesus with everyone he met, I mean everyone! It was amazing to watch. I'll always remember that about him. What a blessing he was to me, and an inspiration. He was truly an example of what being a Christian is about. He didn't just talk the talk but he walked the walk! RIP Mike! I'll meet you by that river!
