Glenda G. Miller, of Morgantown, Mississippi, passed away in Sandy Hook on Friday, July 10, 2020 at the age of 73. Glenda was born in Columbia, Mississippi to J.B. and Doris Garner and has remained a lifelong resident of Marion County. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was devoted to her family. Glenda was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for many family gatherings. She will be remembered for her kindness to others and the love that she gave to her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy L. Miller; her parents; three sisters, Tracie Lightsey, Dorothy Pittman, and Mary Bailey; two brothers, David Garner and Doyle Garner. Glenda is survived by three sons, Jimmy (Amanda) Miller, Thomas (Tania) Miller, and Joey (Tammy) Miller; ten grandchildren, Tyler Miller, Magan Kendrick, Hayley Miller, Zoe Miller, Hayden Miller, Alyssa Miller, Madison Miller, Maverick Miller, Paisley Miller, and Sophia Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation for Glenda from 3:00pm until 8:00pm on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia. The funeral service, officiated by Reverend Willie Batimon, will be at 10:00am on Monday, July 13, 2020 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Foxworth Cemetery assisted by Tyler Miller, Hayden Miller, Steve Ralston, Carlon Lemus, Cecil Beasley III, and Dustie Dubose serving as pallbearers.
