OBITUARY

Glyn W. Daniels

December 1, 1940July 19, 2020

Glyn W. Daniels, age 79 passed away Sunday, July 19, 2020 at his residence. A native of Lawrence County, MS, he worked as a crane operator in the oil field and later owned Daniels Trucking. Glyn was a member of Hepzibah Baptist Church. Mr. Daniels was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Daniels and Heddy Branton Daniels; sisters, Myrtle Smith, and Lujean Harvey; and brother, Robert Daniels. Survivors include his wife, Iva M. Daniels of Silver Creek, MS; a daughter, Robin Daniels and fiancé Eric Thurman, of Silver Creek; a son, Clay Daniels and wife Tammy, of Silver Creek; a sister, Alene Smith of Silver Creek; six grandchildren, Patrick Turnage, Ryan Turnage, Clayton Daniels, Kayla Roberts, Joey Daniels, and Lacey Sanders; and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia, MS where friends may visit with family from 10:00 AM until service time. Reverend Darel Daniels will preside over services. Interment will follow at Hepzibah Cemetery.
