Funeral services will be held Thursday June 16, at1pm from Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia, Ms. for Mrs. Hazel Wilks Broom who passed away June 14, in Marion General Hospital in Columbia, Ms, being 90 years of age. Visitation will be Thursday beginning at 9:00am until service time. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia. Mrs. Hazel was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Baptist Church near Bassfield, Ms. She was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Cassie Broom and parents Quitman & Leonna Sanders Wilks. She is survived by a nephew Ross Windham(Catherine) of Bassfield, 3 nieces Donna, Charlotte and Patricia and a brother Reggie Wilks.
