James W. “Bull” Johnson Jr., of Foxworth, Mississippi, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020 at the age of 57. He was born in Tylertown, Mississippi to James W. Johnson Sr. and Minnie Lou Johnson and has been a lifelong resident of Foxworth. Bull work most of his life in the logging industry and worked with Bobby Lee Logging and Anthony Logging companies. He also was a small farmer who enjoyed raising his chickens, rabbits, and horses. Bull was a wonderful son who was devoted to his family. He never met a stranger and would help anyone in need. He was preceded in death by his father, James W. Johnson Sr. and three brothers, L. B. “Beacham” Bardwell, Kenneth Ray Bardwell, and Billy Joe Johnson. Bull is survived by his mother, Minnie Lou Johnson; and numerous cousins. There will be a graveside service for Bull at 10:00am on Thursday, October 15, 2020 in the Baxter-Pittman Cemetery. Burial will follow the service.
