Janice McAllister

Mrs. Janice McAllister, 69, of Columbia, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Janice dedicated her life to creating a warm and nurturing home for her husband and two children. She was a faithful servant of the Lord, and a devoted caretaker to many over the years. Janice leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness and will be remembered for her selfless service to others.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Edna Randall Prine, her father, Leroy Prine, and her siblings, Rita Prine, Merle Hollis, Alice Broom, Betty Broom, and Wayne Prine. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Kenny McAllister, Sr., her two children, Rex McAllister (Lucy) and Lisa McAllister-Singley (Mitchell), her grandchildren, Autumn Sanford (Seth) and Hayden McAllister, and her siblings, Ruby Broom, Sylvia Sanford, Linda Cox, Ralph "Bo" Prine, Judy Prine, Nita Cook, and John Prine. She leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

In accordance with Janice’s wishes, a private service will be held with close family members.
