Jerry Flynn passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at the age of 70. He was born in Mobile, Alabama to Charles and Jacqueline Flynn. Jerry was a graduate of the Mississippi School for the Blind in Jackson, Mississippi where he lived until moving to Columbia three years ago. He was employed with Mississippi Industries for the Blind for his entire career. Jerry enjoyed singing and playing the piano and will be remembered for his musical talent.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by two aunts, Linda Regan and Melba Cobb.
The funeral service, officiated by Reverend Sammy Foxworth, will be at Colonial Funeral Home on Monday, January 16, 2023 at 11:00am. Friends may visit with the family from 9:00am until service time. Jerry will be laid to rest in Springhill Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mobile, Alabama on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 11:00am.
