Jewel Mason Stogner Sr.

Jewel Mason Stogner, Sr., age 86 of Columbia, MS passed away Monday, December 9, 2019 at Merit Health Wesley in Hattiesburg, MS. He was employed with Orleans Furniture for 20 years and attended North Columbia Church of God.

Mr. Stogner was preceded in death by his son, Jewel Mason Stogner, Jr.; father, Lewis Stogner; mother, Idy Peak Stogner; sister, Velma Smith; and brothers, Hollis Stogner, and Shelby Stogner, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Doris Stogner of Columbia; a daughter, Tammy (James) Pittman of Columbia; his brother, Charles (Dot) Stogner of Columbia; four grandchildren, Corey Hunt, Casey Pegram, Morgan Penalver, and Amber Stogner; and three great-grandchildren, Conner, Kally, and Carley.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00pm on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia where friends my visit from 5:00pm until service time. Visitation will continue after services until 9:00pm. Graveside committal and interment will commence at 3:00pm on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Foxworth Cemetery.
