Kenneth B. Stogner

Kenneth B. Stogner, age 63, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at his residence in Foxworth, MS. He was certified as a tugboat captain and worked for 35 years when he changed course and started S and J Dozier Services. For the past five years, Kenneth was employed with Stevens Family Farms.

Kenneth enjoyed various pleasures in life including listening to music, often singing along, and his favorite hobby of fishing, especially with his children and grandchildren. His family was his treasure and loved time spent at family gatherings. Kenneth had a big heart and was evident in his efforts helping others along the way. We will miss him greatly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kelly Stogner and Rosalee Stogner; his siblings, Shirley Giles, Randolf Stogner, Wilson Stogner, David Stogner, and Jerry Stogner; and his grandsons, Blake Stogner and Tristan Stogner.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Wendy Stogner, daughters, Jessica Stogner (Bruce), and Ashley Giles; sons, Jeremy Johnston, Joey Stogner (Kayla), Justin Stogner (Marcy), Jarred Stogner (Felicia), T.J. Stogner, and Tyler Stogner. He is also survived by his siblings: Bonnie Johnston, Barbara Taylor, Ollie Schoendorf (David), Arthur Stogner (Mary), Darrell Stogner (Bert), and Willie Stogner (Annette). Kenneth leaves behind his grandchildren: Wyatt, Jordan, Jada, Jala, Braylon, Jayden, Ethan, Jace, Colbran, Colton, Cullen, Corbin, Trinity, Kayden, and Jasper; and by a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 26, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia, MS. The funeral service, officiated by Reverend Dr. Ronnie Morgan, will take place on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 11:00 am at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Victory Cemetery in Foxworth assisted by Joey Stogner, Justin Stogner, Jarred Stogner, Ethan Stogner, Bruce Stogner, and James Stogner serving as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers, Jeremy Johnston, T.J. Stogner, Tyler Stogner, and Braylon Stogner.
