It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Leroy Patterson after his short battle with cancer. He was 78 years old. Leroy served as a Mason and Shriner and was a quiet and kind soul with a witty sense of humor and sly smile. He was passionate about woodworking and he loved watching a good football game.
Leroy is lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Helen (McDermit) of Columbia, MS. He was a loving father of Barry Patterson (Valerie) of Collierville, TN, and Trina Sapen (Rance) of Ridgeland, MS; and the proud grandfather to Nolan Patterson, Carter Patterson, Callie Sapen, Marion Sapen, and Emma Sapen; and brother to Burben Patterson of Vancouver, Canada. He was the son of the late Ruby Lewis and Roy Patterson.
A private memorial was held on Monday, July 4, 2022
