Lisa Fillingame Pittman, a lifelong resident of Columbia, Mississippi, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the age of 55. If you knew Lisa, you would know that she spoke her mind and you never had to wonder what she was thinking. You would also know that she was giving and generous with her time and resources. Lisa loved animals and loved caring for animals. However, she adored her grandchildren and was happiest when she was in their presence.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Janice Fillingame and a sister, Shannon Broom. Lisa is survived by two daughters, Skyler Aultman (Josh) and Caitlin Pittman; her father, David Fillingame; two brothers, Jason Fillingame and Dalton Fillingame; six grandchildren, Carson Griner, Cade Edwards, Brayden Aultman, Kaycen Aultman, Acy Aultman, and Kosten Aultman; a niece, Destiny McNabb; and three nephews, Chase Fillingame, Christian McNabb, and Tyler McNabb.
There will be a memorial service to celebrate Lisa's life at Colonial Funeral Home on Monday August 17, 2026, at 11:00am. Friends may visit with the family from 9:00am until service time.
