Luther Henderson Canady

Funeral services were held Monday Oct. 8, 2012 in the chapel of Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia, Ms. at 10am for Mr. L.H.Canady age 72 of Columbia who passed away Thursday Oct. 4, 2012 at his residence. Interment was in the Lowery Assembly of God Cemetery in Waynesboro, Ms. Rev. Lane Turnage and Rev. Hilton Austin officiated at the service. Visitation was held Sunday Oct. 7, 2012 5pm-9pm at the funeral home and also on Monday at Lowery Assembly of God Church 1:00pm---2:30pm. Mr. Canady was retired from the oilfield as a Drilling Consultant and a member of West Columbia Church of God. He is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Nellie Rainwater Canady, a son Dennis Canady and a sister Katherine Canady. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Joyce Pittman Canady of Columbia, two daughters, Donna Crager(Tom) of State Line, Ms. Debi Comeaux(Les) of Anacoco, La. two sons Joe Canady(Pam) of Waynesboro, Dewayne Pittman(Pam) of Bentonia, Ms. a brother Gerald Canady(Edna) of Waynesboro, Ms. eight grandchildren, 16 great grands and many other friends and family.
