Mark Anthony King, of Columbia, Mississippi, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the age of 57. He was a former resident of Manchester, New York and has been a resident of Columbia for the past 6 years. Mark was a “happy-go-lucky” kind of guy who enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting and monster truck events; but, he loved spending time with his children and his dad with whom he had a special bond. He is preceded in death by his mother, Regina Cook; a sister, Patricia King; and a step-sister, Tonya Rivet. Mark is survived by his wife, Rose King; his father and step-mother, S.T. and Katherine King; three daughters, Macie King, Barbara King, and Taylor King; a son, Johnathan King; a sister, Sonya Reid and husband, Tyler; two step-sisters, Frita Manton and Melissa Polk; two step-brothers, Jai Rivet and Lipton Rivet; five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial service for Mark at Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia, Mississippi on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at 6:00pm. The visitation will be prior to the service from 4:00pm until service time. Burial will be in Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
