Reverend Patrick Regan

On Friday, July 24, 2026, Reverend Patrick Regan, of Foxworth, Mississippi, passed from this life into God's presence at the age of 65. He was born in Columbia to Ted and Vondell Regan and returned to Marion County after his retirement. Patrick was a faithful servant of God who devoted his life to pastoring and evangelism in numerous places all around the world. While we grieve his absence, we rejoice in the promise of God's Word. Patrick has now entered the presence of the One he faithfully loved, preached, and served throughout his life. The faith he proclaimed has become his sight. The Savior he pointed countless others toward has now welcomed him home with open arms. If Patrick could speak to us today, we know exactly where he would want our thoughts to be—not on sorrow alone, but on the glory of Heaven. He is now gathered around the throne of Almighty God, joining the redeemed and the angels in worship, declaring: "Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord God Almighty."

His greatest desire was always to glorify Jesus Christ, and today that desire has been fulfilled in a way more wonderful than we can imagine. Patrick was a devoted husband, a loving father, a cherished Pop Pop, a faithful pastor, a compassionate missionary, and a true servant of God. His life was marked by humility, unwavering faith, genuine love for people, and a passion to share the Gospel. He touched countless lives through his ministry, his kindness, his prayers, and his steadfast example of Christ. Our family would like to express our deepest gratitude for every prayer that has been prayed, every phone call, every text message, every visit, every meal, every encouraging word, and every act of kindness shown during this difficult journey. Your love has carried us through some of our hardest days, and we are forever thankful.

Though our hearts ache today, we do not sorrow as those who have no hope. We rest in the blessed assurance that because Patrick trusted in Jesus Christ, this is not goodbye—it is simply "until we meet again."

There will be a funeral service to celebrate Patrick's life and ministry at Mount Carmel Church of God on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 3:00pm. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00pm until service time. The service will be officiated by Doctor Daniel Smith and Reverend Terry Rayborn. He will be laid to rest in the Mount Carmel Church cemetery assisted by Cody Regan, James Broom, Brad Jones, and Eddie Wells serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Payne, Christopher Regan, David Cooper, Dale Reagan, and Eddie Wells.
