Priscilla A. Stephenson

Priscilla A. Stephenson, age 85 passed away Monday, December 14, 2020 at Columbia Rehab and Health. She was a native to Marion County in Mississippi and was primarily a homemaker. Mrs. Stephenson was a member of Goss Baptist Church and was active in the Eastern Star.

Mrs. Stephenson was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Stephenson; parents, James Polk and Julia Foreman Polk; and brother, Henry Polk. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Stephenson of Durant, OK; a son, Douglas Fairburn (Beverly) of Kokomo, MS; a brother, Walter Polk of Blue Ridge, GA; three grandsons, Lee Fairburn (Kayla), Bill Fairburn (Selrika), and Johnathon Fairburn (Taylor), all of Columbia, MS; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at the funeral home chapel where friends may visit from 10:00 AM until service time. Reverend Mark McArthur and Reverend Glenn Nace will preside over services and interment will follow at Society Hill Cemetery assisted by Lee Fairburn, Bill Fairburn, Jonathon Fairburn, R.W. Baughman, Chase Baughman, and Jonathan Easterling as pallbearers.
