Randy Joe Cornwall

Randy Joe Cornwall, of Tylertown, Mississippi, passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021 at the age of 54. He was born in Tylertown and lived most of his life in Marion County before returning four years ago. Randy was a handyman and worked many years with Rowell Roofing. He loved animals and was passionate about rescuing Pit Bulls. He was the creator of the Pit Bulls and Pibbles non-profit group. Randy will be remembered as a loving son, father, and grandfather who was devoted to his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Fred Powell; a brother, Mitchell Powell; and a nephew, Zeke Powell. Randy is survived by three daughters, Ashley Cornwall (Ray), Latisha Davis, and Karmen Morris (Laurence); his mother, Carol Powell; a sister, Angel Gibson (Jermy); four brothers, Scott Powell (Theresa), Allen Powell, Joey Powell, and Farrell Powell (Jessie); eight grandchildren, Alexis Cornwall, Kiirsten Davis, Sequoyah Davis, Cameron Cornwall, Cadin Cornwall, Hope Morris, Faith Morris, and Josie Morris; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved fur babies, Lil Pimp and Sweets.

There will be a visitation for Randy at Colonial Funeral Home from 10:00am until 12:00pm on Monday, November 15, 2021. The funeral service will follow at 12:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be private.
