Mrs. Wendy, I may know some more of your family and not realize it, but this is also to all of them... I am sorry for y'all's loss, just wanted you to know I thought of you then , even tho I am just now leaving you a message !
Sometimes we get so caught up in our own grief, we almost forget others in their time, so sorry.
Love and prayers! ❤🛐

I’ve known Smitty since he was a young teenager. My husband & Smitty’s older sister’s (Sandra) husband have been best friends since 1st grade. Our husbands were drafted together & a year later they went to VM together. Many weekends during that year, I spend at the Bracey’s & they became my family. Smitty would help me wash my vehicle & then we’d go fishing; he’d always bait my line & take the fish off. He was the sweetest teenager & he grew up to be a wonderful husband, father & friend; but his greatest title was Son to the King. As mentioned at his service today, he took every one of these titles very serious, especially his Christian testimony. I’ll never forget his big smile, humor & personality bigger than life. There are many unanswered questions; but the one question no one has to ask is where he is. We all know that answer. He’s in Heaven reunited with all his love ones, friends & in the presence of his Savior. Heaven got a little sweeter & a lot more humorous when he entered those Pearly Gates Friday.
SMITTY, I hope you could see all the beautiful flowers & trees, people that stood in line for hours to speak to your family Friday night, the chapel full for your service & cemetery today to show their love for you & your family. But no one was surprised; we all knew it would be like that. You were definitely one of a kind; God knew he had created one of the very best. You were not suppose to get to Heaven 1st; but since you did, enjoy yourself worshipping our King. Your beautiful Christian family & many friends will meet you when God opens that door for us. You are so loved & will be so missed; but Jesus has given us peace & we shall now continue carry the torch.

It Has To Be A Sad Day In Marion County As One Of Their Best Has Gone To Meet Jesus. But We Can't Be Sad Long Because That's Not Who Smitty Was. I Can't Began To Rethink All Of The Fun Good Times We Shared Together .He Was One Of A Kind ,But The Kind You Loved To Call Your Friend. So Very Sorry Cheryl .
