My brother & I grew up along side “the Branch boys”. Mr Sonny has been in my life for as long as I can remember. He had a ski boat, as did my Pappy (Jimmy Thomas), and all my childhood summer memories involve them and camping at Percy Quinn. Mr Sonny, Mr Terry, Uncle Danny, Uncle Tick (Rusty), Jamie, Pappy and probably more that I can’t recall, would all ski behind the boat together. The horse play was hilarious to say the least. There’s 1,000 more memories but I could never post them all. As I grew up & left New Hope, every time he saw me he asked when I was coming back to church to sing. The last time I saw him I was able to sing for him. Oh, but to know what angelic voices he’s hearing now!!! Mrs Kathy, Jamie & Cole, just think of the healing he’s experienced now.. perfect peace... nothing can compare. Much love to all of you! I know the pain of losing a father, time heals all wounds & the assurance of knowing we’ll see him again is even sweeter.
