My dear sweet Aunt Adell Harrison Harris, I will miss you so much. We traveled together many times and had a fantastic time; it's not going to be the same without you in my life. I'm sending my love condolences to my dear Uncle Russell, Kim, Chaunce, and Octavia. Adell was my aunt, but she was more like a mother.
Only an Aunt can hug like a mother, keep secrets like a sister, and share the love like a friend. Aunt Adell, you were so precious to me. Loving you always, Gwen!!!

Adell and I were friends for 56 years. I met her through her sister, Missouri. We enjoyed a loving, laughing and sometimes tearful relationship. I loved her dearly, without a doubt! She was filled with a natural wit. I remember asking her if she wanted to go shopping with me and she said, “girl, I ain’t got enough money to buy a mosquito a t-shirt.” Louella and I were recently sharing many loving memories of our good friend. During a recent visit, she reminded me that throughout our time together, “we disagreed about things, but we never argued.” Those of us who knew her well knew that she was an “authority” on almost everything (smile)!! We were friends for so long, I feel like a limb off my body is missing. May God bless Russell, the children, grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and friends. Love y’all!!

My sincerest condolences to my Uncle Russell and his family on the passing of my Aunt Adell. Adell was the first of my mother's sisters I met in South Carolina (1971) on my first trip to South Carolina to meet my mother's Harrison side of the family. The first time we hugged each other, I felt her love for me and I told her "I love you Auntie Adell I'm so proud to tell you"

I wish to express my deepest sympathy upon the passing of my auntie Adell. I learned to embrace her love during my early adult life. There was a special spirit among her and myself when I was first introduced to her by my mother, her oldest sibling. From that moment, I wanted to be near her all the time, however life was the barrier. I will continue to love her in spirit. She was a beautiful wife, loving mother, sweet sister, hugging auntie, may her memories be a source of comfort.
