I am so sorry to hear about Agnes' passing. What a wonderful woman she was. When I think of her I smile and laugh. You all were so fortunate to have her in your life!

My prayers are with the Clawson family as you celebrate the wonderful life your special mom. I love "My Mrs. Clawson" so much, and I thank God every day that He placed her in my life during the past 20 years.  She often told my that I was the daughter she never had - she has been a best friend to me, and I cherish each moment we spent together - walking, shopping, dining out, taking a drive, watching Carolina football , but mostly, just being together. We shared sorrow, grief, happiness and every other emotion we have. God has gained a beautiful, elegant angel in Heaven.  I pray for God to comfort you during this time of grief. I thank God for placing "My Mrs. Clawson" in my life and I hope she will smile down and guide me from Heaven.

I always enjoyed chatting with Mrs. Clawson - she was such a nice lady.  You have my deepest sympathy and prayers during your grief.

Agnes was an elegant delightful lady who never aged. While at Fort Jackson her vast knowledge and professionalism were acknowledged and respected by all she encountered.  She was an exceptional talented educator and person. She was especially proud of her boys and their family.  Last week I had the opportunity to have a long visit with her.  She was just as sharp as she was when I first met her 50 years ago.
