Albert went to be with The Lord on Saturday, July 11, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Jackie and a cherished Father. Albert was born on October 31, 1929, in Greenwood, SC. He was the loving son of Lawton and Mary Jackson.
Albert enjoyed spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed golf, fishing, gardening, and cooking. He was very fond of games of chance. Albert will be remembered for his generosity to all who know him.
He is survived by his son, William James Jackson, and his daughters Susan Lynn Jackson and Mary Jean Amick, his grandchildren Brenda and Benjamin and his great-grandchildren Michael, Felicity, Fennick and Chloe.
Funeral services will be held at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia, SC 29229 on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM with full military honors.
