IRMO – Alison Odroneic Bell departed this earthly life Sunday, March 23, 2014 after suffering a heart attack 10 days ago. We thank all the doctors and nurses on the 3rd Floor of MICU, Lexington Medical Center for their valiant efforts in trying to save Alison. She bought a good fight and thought we had won the battle Sunday morning when she was able to communicate with family and friends. Later Sunday afternoon her heart failed and with that, a large part of our heart was taken also. She can now join our daughter Adriane (9-14-2009) in heaven and we will have another angel to take care of us.
She was predeceased to our beloved daughter Adriane, her mother and father and her sweet grandmother, “Granny”.
Alison was born August 12, 1948 to Joseph Andrew Odroneic Sr. and Elizabeth Walter Odroneic in Orangeburg, SC.
She leaves behind her husband, Gale Kyle Bell and her son, Walter Kyle Bell; sisters, Kathy Odroneic Hutchens of Lexington, Patricia Odroneic Waters of Ninety Six and brother, Joseph Andrew Odroneic, Jr.; as well as her five brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Charles L. (Vivian) Bell of St. Matthews, Johnny W. (Ella Jean) Bell, Bobby E. (Margarette) Bell, George E. Bell and Donnie R. (Diane) Bell all from the Jamison Community in northern Orangeburg County.
Visitation will be held at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home Irmo/St.Andrews Chapel on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with graveside service to follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens with Father Ernie Pollock officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Adriane Alison Bell Scholarship Fund at Clemson University Dairy Science Club, 1675 Observatory Dr., Clemson University, Clemson, SC 29634.
