Ann Franckle Clark

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, George A. Clark. Surviving are her children, Douglas Clark of Lawrenceville, GA, Julie (Jeffrey) Fleming of Kings Mountain, NC, and Brian (Erika) Clark of Columbia, SC. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother to her six grandchildren.

Ann received her bachelor’s degree from Penn State University and spent her early career as an elementary school teacher before becoming a full-time homemaker. Ann spent much of her adult life in Atlanta, GA. She loved to volunteer and spent many years serving the Atlanta Lawn and Tennis Association (ALTA) and her church, Cannon United Methodist Church. In addition to her family, Ann was an avid animal lover who always had a home with her dogs and cats.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Spring Valley Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Humane Society of the United States (humanesociety.org).
