Kimberly~ I'm sure you probably do not remember our family, but we were in Classical Conversations (homeschool community) together in the early years. Our family moved up to the mountains of Brevard, NC 5 years ago. We just read the Brevard paper & that is how we found out about Alex's Earthly passing. My heart & prayers go out to you all. She's in a better place, but it doesn't make it easier for the loved ones "left behind". Love & God's grace to you all. ~Donya

My heart breaks for the James family. I taught Ashley a few years ago and we knew Rebecca from SOAR soccer. Ashley had a beautiful smile and a gentle spirit. I pray that God will wrap His arms around you and heal your broken hearts.

As we are mourning the loss of someone who brightened our lives in such a special way, there is a huge "Welcome Home" party going on in Heaven.  I imagine that Jesus is having to say rather loudly "Well done good and faithful servant" in order to be heard over the singing and celebrating of the angels and the saints! We will always love you, Ashley.

Another beautiful soul passed from our world yesterday. Even though I didn't know Ashley personally, she attended Dutch Fork with me and that doesn't make me any less sad for this tragic loss. It's times like this that make us realize how truly lucky we are to live on this Earth. The fight is over, and from this point on, there is no more suffering. Heaven has gained another angel. Ashley, you made it through this journey of life, and now it is time for you to spread your wings and fly. R.I.P. angel.
