Carlton Bryan, 70, passed away on August 12, 2026. Born October 10, 1955, Carlton will be remembered with deep respect and enduring gratitude by all who knew him. Known to many as “Gator Man,” he left a steady, lasting imprint through the life he lived and the love he gave to those closest to him.
Carlton was preceded in death by his parents, Katherine Bryan and Hamp Bryan; and his brothers, Doug and Bruce. He is survived by his daughter, Crystal Bryan; his son, Christopher Bryan (Jolene); his brother, Richard Bryan; his grandsons, Caden Ranly and Lyncoln Ranly; and his granddaughters, Claire Bryan and Cayley Bryan.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Elmwood Funeral Home, 501 Elmwood Avenue, Columbia, SC 29021.
