Carmen D. Munoz

COLUMBIA - Funeral services for Carmen D. Munoz, 88, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Simon and St. Jude Episcopal Church, 1110 Kinley Road, Irmo, SC 29063 with entombment in Bush River Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mrs. Munoz was born May 10, 1925 in San Juan, Puerto Rico and passed away on Monday, June 10, 2013. Her greatest joys were being with her family and friends, music, dancing and cooking.

Surviving are daughter, Martha Benitez of Columbia, son, George Munoz of Brentwood, CA; grandchildren, Marlene Sheard of Columbia and Gabriel Munoz of Sacramento, CA; great-grandchildren, Cody Stewart, Stephanie Stewart, Ryan Sheard and Isabella Sheard. She was predeceased by her husband, Manuel Munoz and granddaughter, Cristina Stewart.
