Christina M. Hutto

WEST COLUMBIA - Christina (Christy) Marie Hutto, age 37, passed away unexpectedly on January 26, 2017 due to complications of an aneurism. Christy was born in Lexington, South Carolina, on December 20, 1979 to David and Donna Rish, as their only child. Christy attended Airport High School.

Christy is survived by her parents, Donna Jones (John Madden), David Rish and stepmother, Cindy Rish; two sons, Dillon Redick and Jaden Harwell; her beloved friend and former companion, Berkeley Redick; her beloved grandmothers, Leona Chavis and Betty Rish and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Christy was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Elzie Chavis and Herman Rish, and her beloved cousin, Amanda Wall.

After high school Christy worked for BB&T Bank and Mid-Carolina Electric Cooperative.

Christy's greatest happiness was watching her older son, Dillon, grow into a handsome and compassionate young man and the exploration and youthfulness of her younger son, Jaden. She also relished the time growing up with her cousins and watching each one emerge into their own personality.

Private arrangements have been made through Caughman-Harman Funeral Home in West Columbia, SC.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that any donations be sent to The Melanoma Research Foundation.
