GASTON - Funeral service for Christine Lucas Hair, 86, will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2015, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel, with burial in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Hair died Tuesday, July 28, 2015, after a long illness. Born in Ranlo, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Leon Lucas and Effie Rish Lucas. Mrs. Hair retired from Allied Chemical and Piccadilly Cafeteria. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughter, Donna Loggins Brotherton (Tommy); grandsons, Michael Loggins, Nathan and John Hair; daughter-in-law, Donna Kay Hair; a sister; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert Hair; son, Stanley Hair; and five sisters. The family wishes to thank Dr. Leonardi, Dr. Lal and everyone at Palmetto Baptist Hospital for their loving care.
