CAYCE - David L. Booth Sr. of Cayce SC, age 62 passed away on Monday, December 11, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. He was born in California on August 20, 1955. He was the son of the late Lewis Booth and Genevieve Booth. He was employed at Carolina Scales and worked as a scale technician for most of his life. Some of his favorite hobbies were grilling out, listening to music, playing his guitar, and his cars. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor, kind heart, and never giving up and fighting to the very end. He was much loved and will be missed very much.
He is survived by his daughter Angel V. Booth, and is predeceased by his son David L. Booth Jr. A private memorial will be held at a future date. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home of West Columbia will be assisting the family.
