David J Fraccalvieri

COLUMBIA-A memorial service for David Joseph Fraccalvieri, 24, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 12, 2011 at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Memorials may be made to the USO South Carolina, 3000 Aviation Way, West Columbia, SC 29170, or Cornerstone Presbyterian Church, 5637 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212.

David was born on April 26, 1987 in Lexington, SC, son of Joseph Fraccalvieri and Gloria Coberly. David graduated from Irmo High School in 2005. He served in the SC Army National Guard from 2005 to 2011. During his time of service, he toured with the 218th Movement Enhancement Brigade in Afghanistan in 2007 to 2008, after which he worked with the Joint Operations Command until his Honorary Discharge earlier this year.

Sergeant David Joseph Fraccalvieri left this world on December 7, 2011. He is survived by his parents, Joseph Fraccalvieri and Gloria Coberly; sister, Heather Fraccalvieri; step-sisters, Jenny and Heidi Coberly; step-father, Jeff Coberly; grandparents, T.C. and Hilda Coberly, of Columbia; and an extensive array of loving relatives, most of who reside in New York and Massachusetts.
