Donnie Shealy

Columbia: A memorial service for Donnie Roy Shealy, Sr., 64, of Columbia, will be held at 2 o’clock, Saturday, July 30, 2011, at Shives Funeral Home, 5202 Colonial Dr., Columbia, with The Rev. Paul C. Tomlinson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, please contact the family for memorial suggestions.

Mr. Shealy died Monday, July 25, 2011. Born in Columbia, SC, on July 10, 1947, Donnie was a son of the late Roy S. and Birdie Belger Shealy. He worked as an automotive body technician at Pulliam Ford, and attended Good Shepherd Baptist Church.

Survivors include his son, Donnie Roy Shealy, Jr. of Columbia; sisters, Betty W. (Steve) Hoang of Columbia, Peggy A. (William) Wright of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Jasmine and Tyler Shealy; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles, Kenny, Paul, and Ray Shealy.
